West Coast Railways Ltd. continue to support and on 5th September, 2009 the Lune Rivers Trust Express set out again for York and then on to Scarborough. The train was completely full, the catering superb as always and the Lune Rivers Trust was delighted to receive a cheque for £4,000 from West Coast Railways. In addition to our normal raffle, Pat Marshall and West Coast Railways also gave us the headboard to raffle and LRT souvenirs (mugs, ties and badges) to sell. As a result we raised a further £1,118. The sale of these souvenirs will continue to support our website in the future.
